Mitchell Peak is a 6.7 mile out and back trail in Sequoia National Park. It’s rated as moderate and has an elevation gain of 2,014 feet. Once at the top you will be at the highest point in the Jennie Lakes Wilderness, @ 10,365 feet in elevation. There maybe some rock scrambling.
Meet up: Blossom Trail Cafe Academy & Belmont

Time: 6:30 am sharp. Be ready to leave!

We will see: wildflowers, 360 degree views of the valley and much more. You won’t want to miss this hike as the views at the top are astounding. Mitchell’s summit straddles the border of Kings Canyon National Park.

Bring your park pass, adventurous attitude, plenty of water, lunch, snacks, hat, sunscreen and gas money for the driver. Optional dinner at The Old Schoolhouse.
