Balsam Forebay and Ely Mountain above Shaver Lake. 7:00 am meetup near Starbucks in the Target Lot on Willow and Herndon. Look for our FSC sign. Carpool from there just past Shaver lake for hike. 4.5 miles round trip, 700’ elevation gain on hike, so be prepared for a climb with at least 1+ liter of water, snacks. Bring lunch if you don’t want to stop for it in Shaver after the hike.
